Vince Williams sustains apparent injury vs. Ravens

The Steelers lost another player during Sunday’s game against the Ravens. After losing Darrius Heyward-Bey earlier in the game, the Steelers lost linebacker Vince Williams to an apparent injury with about six minutes left and Pittsburgh trailing 20-14. The Ravens were on the verge of adding to their lead when Williams exited the game. Williams was replaced by backup linebacker L.J. Fort.

Pittsburgh started the game without defensive backs Mike Hilton and Morgan Burnett. Burnett, a starter, was replaced by rookie Terrell Edmunds, who recorded his first career fumble recovery in the second quarter.

Williams, who signed a multiyear deal with the Steelers during the 2018 offseason, recorded a career high 8.5 sacks last season.
